Limpopo Area

Limpopo Wilderness Hunting

After being established by the well-known Heinz Heuser in 1988, the reserve was passed down to his son. Several years later the reserve was sold and today extends over 50 square miles/128 square kilometres of proper wilderness terrain. This wilderness area forms part of the UNESCO approved, Greater Waterberg Biosphere reserve which has been declared an indigenous forest and receives international protection. The presence of Elephant further compliments the reserve’s expanse and authentic wilderness feel, along with Cape Buffalo, Leopard, Hippopotamus and Crocodile all roaming without inhibition on the area. The unspoilt beauty of the mountain ranges and valleys further matched with incredible game numbers all contribute to the area’s diversity.
